The place was beautiful, right on the river with a great view. Hostess greeted me immediately. Communication between the hostess and our server seemed to be an issue, as my server didn't realize i was there at first, but that's alright. Drinks came out in a reasonable fashion, though a little slow for how busy it was. Bruschetta was fantastic. Entree came out fairly quickly, got the stack burger. Asked for medium, got a big juicy medium cooked to perfection. Pina colada for "dessert" was a nice wind-down. Definitely tasty!

My boyfriends family and I came here on Christmas Day just because his mom was sick for the past week and didn't wanna cook. I have been here to the landing for Easter a couple years ago but today they brought us into a totally different room that's was not the actual main buffet room, weird. Slow service although friendly, small selection, lack of variety, buffet rarely changed, items ran out and where not replaced, the prime rib was very rare near raw, almost all the food was cold, especially the ham and the prime rib- Main courses should never be cold. No one in the group was satisfied. Overall, very disappointing.

You know this restaurant has been getting some terrible reviews and I think that's sad because it has potential. Mostly the bad reviews come from holiday buffets and I didnt try any of by those; what I did try was lunch a couple of times as I was staying at the Riverfront Hotel, and I thought the food was actually pretty decent. There are nice views of the river. I'd give it 4 stars but the service was a little off. I have eaten here twice now and been serviced by two different waitresses and for different reasons was not serviced so well. The first was just a little neglectful even thouh I was the ONLY person in the entire restaurant and the second one just seemed eager for me to leave for some reason. Weird.

My mom took us here for the Sunday brunch as a gift for all of us. We made reservations well in advance and yet they set us at all separate tables. Not the family dining we were hoping for. We had the slowest waiter I have ever had. He couldn't remember anything we told him and some stuff we asked for such as Au Jus for our cold prime rib never came. Breakfast food was good, but the chicken, vegetables and mashed potatoes were all cold. This left my mother feeling very embarrassed. We will never go back.

Very slow service. We ordered dinner and drinks and our server/bartender forgot some of the order. It was karaoke night which was just plain awful. Ugh. Awful spot.

We've been going to the Mothers Day buffet here for years now. Every year it's been great. Today, not so much. We were shown to a table that wasn't cleared from the previous family. Ok no big deal. 10 minutes later we sat down ready to eat. No silverware, no napkins, no drinks. 20 minutes into dinner we served our own coffee and had to practically beg for beverages. The service was lacking to say the least. Food wasn't much better. Needless to say at $24.95 a person I for one was very unimpressed this time. My father in law who also paid for all of us was so upset he didn't even eat. Sorry to say that this will be our last Mothers Day buffet here.

Whitefish. Burned oil. Lisa. Steak soup-canned. Options-broccoli cheddar, chicken and wild rice. Sea Bass special-under. No Jd. Kathleen. Let me start by saying that the Restaurant Manager Lisa, and our waitress were great! The view over the river was gorgeous! However, that's where the nice part ends. When we were sat, as I enjoyed our view over the lake... we also dealt with several gnat/ barfly issues and noticed the large amount of dead insects on the window ledges. Congratulations for actively using pesticides, and it will work... but you need to wipe your ledges off. However, this wasn't too off-putting. I ordered a drink for dinner, and they were out of Jack Daniels. Whaaa? (Fire your inventory manager, and your liquor rep immediately!) When I ask for an upgrade... Segrams 7 is not an upgrade from Jack Daniels... however, they did buy my drink (and this part almost didn't make my review because I was grateful). But then my soup arrived. Although I asked... and was told... all soups were made on the premesis. Either Campbell's Chunky Soup is on sale (because every restaurant in town has both Steak and Chicken w/ Wild Rice)... or this chef built his from scratch to taste exactly like thiers! (Afterall, it's the top selling soup company in America... so why not?). I ordered the Whitefish which tasted of burnt cooking oil. My friend ordered the Sea Bass special, and it was undercooked to the point of raw. Any one (or two) of these issues could easily be overlooked or remedied. But the bottom line is that there is no attention to detail from the bar or kitchen. One Star because they just aren't trying... and this place should be AWESOME!

This place was interesting. A hotel bar with outdated decor and leather captains chairs at every table, but a view of the lake. It was really dark and tacky in there, I love it! The bartender gals were super chill. We had a couple drinks while waiting for our friend in the hotel to get ready. My friend got a Bloody Mary and the waitress said she made an awesome one with Bombay so she offered my friend a sample drink, which was cool. It was good, but vodka rules on this one. We stayed for maybe two drinks. It's a definite first drink spot before heading out.

I had breakfast here after staying in the hotel. I wanted something fast so I could get on the road back home. My friend ordered the buffet and was pleased with it. For $8.00 you get breakfast and an beverage. If you want the brunch buffet, it's $15.. All I wanted was an order of pancakes. The service was very slow. My breakfast came out over 15 minutes later. The waitress never refilled my empty water glass or came back to check on us for that matter. The pancakes were good. You'd probably be better off paying a bit extra and serving yourself with the buffet. Be sure to ask for a pitcher of water!

I wish I could write a better review for this place than I am. I'm giving it 3 stars when it should have 2, but....I dunno. I got a bunch of gift certificates for this place so it didn't cost me anything to eat, so I'll give it an extra star for that. The service was 5 star for sure. The meal was...not so much. I got the prime rib and it reminded me of Pondorosa meat. It was cheap and tough and tasted bad. I didn't eat it all, so I took it home and the thought of eating the leftovers wasn't appealing. So I fed it to the dog. The 3 other people in my party had a great time and thought it was wonderful. So maybe I'm just a grouch.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR RESTAURANT WEEK!! Tiny tiny portions. NOT WORTH IT. And food wasn't that great either.

I came here for the Sunday night funnies and even though we were ordering drinks the waitress wanted to charge us $2.00 for water. The service was horrible. The waitress was VERY rude and not very attentive. This will most likely be one of the last times I spend my money at this place.
